AUTOCRYPT, a leading global automotive software and security solutions provider, announced that AutoCrypt HSM received the ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) CL2 certification.
AutoCrypt HSM is a software module that integrates the hardware security module into the AUTOSAR environment. Equipped with Secure Boot for tampering prevention, key management, Over-the-Air (OTA) authentication, and encrypted communication protocols, it protects communications both in and out of the vehicle. AutoCrypt HSM supports a variety of ECU platforms including TRAVEO™ T2G, AURIX™ TC, RH850, and SPC58.
Founder and CEO of AUTOCRYPT, Seokwoo Lee said regarding the achievement, “Manufacturers and suppliers, more than ever, need security solutions structured for compliance with regulations and standards like UN R155, ISO/SAE 21434, and ISO 26262. We want to ensure that our customers and partners can rely on our solutions, and this certification is a testament to the level of quality our products provide.”
AUTOCRYPT’s certification for AutoCrypt HSM was granted through the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) by Intacs. The CL2 certification is widely considered a differentiating factor in collaboration and business development with automotive manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers. The certification is the second ASPICE certification for AUTOCRYPT’s in-vehicle security product lineup after TEE, further reinforcing the superior quality of the company’s software solutions.
