About ITF Summit

The ITF Summit is an annual summit hosted by the International Transport Forum (ITF), gathering transport ministers, policymakers, business leaders, and researchers from across the globe to share the latest developments in transport technologies and ideas on potential new policies for better and safer transport. With 63 member countries and over 30 companies on the ITF Corporate Partnership Board (CPB), the ITF Summit attracts over 1,400 participants.

The 2022 ITF summit was held in Congress Center Leipzig between May 18 and 20.

Theme

The theme of the 2022 ITF Summit is “Transport for Inclusive Societies”, focusing on the use of new mobility technologies to make transport more accessible and inclusive to all members of the society.

AUTOCRYPT's Role

As a member on the ITF Corporate Partnership Board (CPB), AUTOCRYPT has long been a policy adviser at the ITF in the fields of C-ITS and mobility cybersecurity. As a gold sponsor and exhibitor at this year’s summit, AUTOCRYPT showcased its inclusive mobility solution AutoCrypt EQ, along with a live demonstration of its newest compact V2X onboard unit (OBU), V2X-Air, a lightweight and portable OBU that can be plugged into smartphones and micromobility devices like bicycles and wheelchairs.

Hyunse Lee, Vice President of Autocrypt Technologies GmbH, led a session where he presented AUTOCRYPT’s experience in making inclusive and barrier-free mobility solutions, along with insights on how to overcome systematic and financial barriers in building these solutions to ensure they are affordable, reliable, and sustainable.
