AUTOCRYPT, a global leader in vehicle automotive cybersecurity software, successfully completed a series of virtual C-V2X (Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything) interoperability tests, hosted by OmniAir Consortium®. During the virtual tests, AUTOCRYPT highlighted its technological capabilities and comprehensive IEEE 1609.2.1-based SCMS.
AUTOCRYPT provided its V2X certificates to the device vendors for their SCMS test cases. Testing covered various SCMS bootstrapping-related categories including request and download of Certificate Trust List (CTL), Certificate Revocation List (CRL), Certificate Chain File (CCF), OBU and RSU certificates. As an SCMS vendor, AUTOCRYPT passed the test cases, showcasing a 100% success rate.
“Security and interoperability are key issues when contemplating V2X adoption; participating in regular testing allows for greater collaboration in this area,” said Seokwoo Lee, CEO of AUTOCRYPT. “As V2X technology rapidly develops into an essential part of intelligent transportation systems worldwide, AUTOCRYPT will continue to lead in ensuring secure and seamless interoperability across diverse ecosystems.”
The month-long testing session allowed for C-V2X device manufacturers to test their devices for interoperability with V2X PKI/SCMS providers ahead of the upcoming OmniAir Florida Plugfest and Interoperability Testing in May, where providers will be available for interoperability testing on-site.
